REVIEW: Kellogg's NutriGrain Strawberry Cereal Bar

Okay, time for another Kellogg's NutriGrain review! Fun, right?! Cool review, right?! New product review, right?! Totally, right?! Oh yeah!!!
...Yeah, yeah, whatever- don't blame me for filler reviews- they gotta be done. I guess. Anyway, the last bar I happened to taste-test in the NutriGrain line was their Apple Cinnamon flavor, which was OK... But was, in essence, just that. O.K. Not impressive, but not horrible either. I suppose I thought that maybe it was just that specific flavor that wasn't pleasing my taste buds and that there was a great chance that SOME NutriGrain product out there could prove to be tastier, so I bought up a bar of their Strawberry variety.
A 10.4 oz. box with eight 1.3 oz. bars costs around $2.98.

Okay, so the nutrition facts pictured down below are for a slightly larger version of these NutriGrain bars, and that's because my school cafeteria- where I purchased this bar from -serve slight larger NutriGrains than you could pick up at any old store. For the more common nutrition facts, here you go:
One 37g bar contains 120 calories, 30 of them being from fat, 3g of total fat, 0.5g of saturated fat, 0g of trans fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 125mg of sodium, 24g of total carbohydrates, 3g of dietary fiber, 11g of sugar, and 2g of protein.

Okay, so what we got here is a VERY crumbly bar (it broke in half before I could even take it out of the wrapper) that is also very soft and decently large for a snack bar. Of course, as I mentioned before, for some odd reason or another our school cafeteria serves larger NutriGrains than anywhere else. I swears it!

So, to be fair, this bar is sweet, but it doesn't really scream "strawberry." Like, AT ALL. The thick jam is yummy, but just evokes some vague "sweet" fruit flavor. It's tasty, but for some reason doesn't seem to jump start the ol' taste buds. It could help if the cereal shell had more of an exciting flavor of its own to jazz things up, but it doesn't.

To make a quick review even quicker, this NutriGrain bar was JUST okay, exactly like the Apple Cinnamon one I reviewed before it. I hope I cross paths with some redeemable NutriGrain flavor someday, because I'm starting to lose hope with this brand. I can see why Kellogg's is releasing new NutriGrain variations, like the Crunch bars and the Fruit & Oat Harvests, because these Cereal Bars are borrrrrrring. But I'm gonna have to award this Strawberry flavor a slightly higher rating than the Apple Cinnamon, just because I found it to be slightly tastier and not quite as disappointing. I'm not interested in buying these again.
I'd give Kellogg's NutriGrain Strawberry Cereal Bars a 5.5/10.

ARE there any review-worthy NutrGrain Cereal Bars out there? PLEEEEEEEEASE let us know! Write down in the comments below.

Till' then, this has been RiRi ri-porting!
