REVIEW: Subway Honey Oat Bread

Well, looks like it's time for another Subway review! Ooooooh, they've released a LOT of new products lately... Could I be reviewing the Flatizzas? The Frito Sub? Well...? Nope and nope! Today I'm reviewing something REAL special... Subway's Honey Oat Bread! ...Yay!

Okay... well, Subway's Honey Oat Bread may not be new to most of you, but it's new to me. I've never tried it before. Honestly! And besides, the Flatizzas don't look very filling, and the Frito Sub isn't supposed to be all that tasty... The reviews I read were pretty negative. Plus, Fritos on a sub? I don't eat Fritos by themselves! So, why not review the Honey Oat Bread? What have I got to lose?

REVIEW: Bear Naked Banana Nut Granola

In one of my previous posts, I was tipped off by a reader that one of his favorite granola cereals was Bear Naked. So, I might as well give this brand a review! Now, keep in mind that my reader's favorite favorite was the Fruit & Nut flavor, but this granola review was more of a spur of the moment kind of thing. I was just hanging out at a friend's house, and I looked up at their refrigerator to see a package of Bear Naked granola right sitting there! It wasn't the Fruit & Nut flavor my reader yearned for- it was their Banana Nut flavor. But I guess that's close. Bananas are a fruit, and this granola has nuts in it too. Don't worry, Mr. Reader! I'll get to the Fruit & Nut someday. Till' then, I'll take your word on its deliciousness. But, for today, I'm reviewing Bear Naked's Banana Nut Granola.

REVIEW: Quaker Banana Nut Bread Soft Baked Bars

I like a nice hunk of banana bread every now and again, so it'd make sense for me to buy these Banana Nut Bread Bars from Quaker, right? That's what I thought, but it really was more of an impulsive buy. I mean, I like banana bread, but I like the homemade stuff, not some manufactured junk. Homemade banana bread tastes better and is real easy to make. So I guess I wasn't really thinking. But then again, if you asked me if I felt like making banana bread RIGHT NOW, I'd probably respond with a, "Gee.... I'd LOVE to, butttttt..... I kinda have stuff to do. Like watching videos. About video games. On Youtube."

So as you can see, I have a lot on my plate, and I suppose in the end, it WOULD make sense for me to buy manufactured banana bread!!!

...Ohhhhhh, who am I kidding? I'm just trying to reassure myself...

REVIEW: Subway's New Jalapeno Cheese Bread

Walking into Subway recently, I couldn't help but wondering, "Gee, what will I review now? If only they had a new bread out or something..." And lo and behold, there it was! Subway's Jalapeno Cheese Bread! I couldn't help but pump my fists with joy. Talk about good timing, right? I hadn't even realized Subway had a new bread out already. It seems like just yesterday since I reviewed their Garlic Bread. Gee... does that mean that one's been revoked already? Bye-bye Garlic Bread? Awwwwww.... I really liked their Garlic Bread! This Jalapeno Cheese stuff had better be a suitable replacement, or I'll be maaad...

REVIEW: Subway's Flatbread

Today, I had originally planned to write a review for Subway's Egg White, Ham, and Cheese sandwich, but I figured, "Eh, I order that ALL THE TIME. I would obviously say it's good, and it's not really a "new" or "hot" item, so what's the point?" It'd be a useless post, unless there are a FEW choice people out there who reeeeally wanna know how one of Subway's select breakfast sandwiches tastes, sans the yolk. But I'll save that post for it on another day. For now, all you need to know is that I will be reviewing the specific BREAD I ordered my sandwich on- Subway's Flatbread. This bread offers no up-charge to your sub.

REVIEW: Subway's New Garlic Bread

Subway's released a new type of bread for a limited time only: Garlic Bread (not to be confused with their Roasted Garlic Bread, which is on their website although I've certainly never seen it in stores). Anyway, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE GARLIC ("Oh ho, remind me never to kiss YOU!") Yes, despite it's bad rep for smelly breath, I enjoy putting fresh garlic in and on anything: pizzas, spaghetti sauce... Well, those are pretty much the only two opportunities where I CAN use fresh garlic. But I put garlic powder on pretty much anything. Pork, steak, bread, spinach, okra, hot dogs, soup... Heck! I'll put garlic powder on the aforementioned pizza, which has fresh garlic on it already. That's just how I am.

So if you can't tell, I was honestly very excited to hear about Subway's new Garlic Bread, which is essentially  their Italian Bread with dehydrated garlic and various other spices put on top.So last time I went to Subway, I ordered an Egg White, Black Forest Ham, & Cheese Sandwich (my usual) with this new bread. Subway's Garlic Bread doesn't add any up-charge to your sandwich.

So if this bread is freshly baked, does that mean the others aren't???
